Becky Hastings is not too happy about her prospect of her father, Geoff, remarrying. Especially since he’s only known his partner Monique for three months. And the news stirs up complex emotions in his ex-wife Helen.
Besides the stress of the wedding, Becky, a magazine journalist, is faced with the pressures of raising a young family and holding down her high-powered job.
Her old school friend Janie is asked to organize the wedding. Except that hapless Janie isn’t great on detail – the reason why she was sacked from her previous job.
There’s also Mel, the vicar who is distracted by events in her own life – not to mention an unemployed husband and two tricky teens. The wedding seems destined to be a disaster but fate has some other ideas…
